George Heiney and Audrey Braton met apprenticing for Master Glass Sculptor Homer Hoyt in Golden, Colorado in 1976. A partnership was formed and named B & B Glass Creations. (Many have speculated on the origins of the abbreviation B & B) Married in 1984 George and Audrey have run a small, local, artisan business in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado ever since.
B & B Glass Creations specializes in hand sculpted glass depictions of nature. Of particular quality are the various sculptures of native Rocky Mountain flowers, Columbines (Colorado's State Flower), Irises (native to the Colorado High Country), and Indian Paint Brushes.
George is an avid outdoorsman and revels in sculpting North American Wildlife, and Western Scenes (Elk, Moose and wild Mustangs are shown above). George frequently sculpts all North American big game animals, game fish, and various scenes from the west: rodeos, anglers, and hunters.
Nature is only one of the many subjects sculpted by George and Audrey. For those who enjoy whimsy and flights of fantasy, be sure to check out the many intricately-sculpted scenes with faeries, dragons and unicorns as the focal point.
Thank you for supporting a small, family-owned, Colorado business.
